Mocha, I saw something like that! It was a guy with a mohawk on top
that kinda fell down and got long in the back...we called it the
"mohullet". :)

No doubt the hawk is cooler than the mullet. Mullets have NEVER been cool; that's what's so funny! If there ever was a dorkier 'do than a mullet, I've never seen it.

You know, if we could just bring back the mullet, we wouldn't have to
work so hard on our extensions...just slap them on the back of our
heads and *kapow!* Instant cool.

Tonight on Trio channel was a show called "American Mullet" and sheeez...there were some very familiar hairdos. One or two reminded me a lot of some weft installs I've had. It was a serious show, but it's really hard to take a mullet seriously, especially on a 60 yr old grandmother. I was surprised to learn that the mullet is, in fact, a Native American hairdo particular to some tribes like the Chumash. Because of its distinctive style and versatility, the mullet has become mainstream in a manner similar to that of another Native American hairstyle which is a particular favorite of this board, the Mohawk.
The quest for hair knowledge is never ending, I tell you.
