I think it varies on how much u should trim ur ends..some people only trim when needed like once a year while others trim every relaxer. i dust my ends after every relaxer(about every 2.5-3 months) and i do a good trim like twice a year.HTH

Thanks ladies. Ohh and thanks for the welcome carameldiva. I'm learing a lot here. So How much of my ends should I trim? All the way up the end of the split or just the ends?

You can trim split ends... they have conditioners and serums that say they repair split ends. They don't, they are a temporary fix, which seals the splits together. But they in no way, stop the hair shaft from splitting further.

i use to wonder the same thing but I dont think its possible to mend an end that is already split. But, you do a small trim on them now and take care of them so they dont get any worse. HTH

I'm new here and I wanted to introduce myself. HI!! I was wondering if it is possible to use various products (like leave-ins, grease, oil sheen, etc.) on my ends to repair them so I don't have to cut them.
Thank you ladies in advance.
