QuoteReplyTopic: Bohyme Shade 27/30 in PH? Posted: May 12 2005 at 10:03pm
Alright, thanks to everyone who responded .... I have decided to go with one package each of Weizen, Mandel, and goldblond to substitute 27/30. I also ordered some dunkelbraun to be mixed for my underlayer and burgundrot for highlights. Will definitaly post before and after pix after this is all over
Eeks--I took that picture, but it's way off-color (too warm) and
unlabeled. The photos with flash are more accurate, color wise. Is
there anything labeled that looks comparable? I'm also not sure which
you mean by 8th, since some of the colors are chopped off the pic.
That said, the colors (right to left, after the two white shades in the
middle) are as follows: Kastanie, Haselnuss, Dunkel Bran, Cacao,
Walnuss, Kupfer, Mandel, Weizen, Vanille (which is a light blonde).
These are probably a more accurate representation of the range you want:

Specifically for the Bohyme shade 27/30, I think Mandel or Weizen is
best- Weizen is a tiny bit lighter, and Mandel a tiny bit darker, so
you could buy one bag of each and blend together for some depth in the
color. Winterblond is a shade lighter than Weizen, but also very close.
Fichte is a good match for 30, but not 27/30, and Walnuss to me looks
too red for 27/30.
I think the Mandel might be the best match for 27 and maybe Fitche for
30? (Ask other people, though, since I'm not very good at color
matching.) You might find these photos helpful, too: http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=29917
Good luck! :)

Changing the brand of hair is confusing. Color varies so much from brand to brand! I'm going from a Bohyme Shade 27/30 to PH... can anyone tell me their opinion on the closest match for shade 27 and 30? This is so flustrating for me... thanks!
