At some big occasion tonight we had Sharon Stone with some kind of tucked in extensions do (not good, but better than the ultra short), Milla Jovivich, longer than usual and dark brown (yuk), and Penelope Cruz looking cute in a well styled updo (though I hope she's not hiding some mini hack job!)

The beautiful Eva Herzigova has recently grown her hair out from super short--and looks great. In contrast, Natalie Imbruglia seems to insist on having masses of thick black hair without ever having any idea what to do with it. Why doesn't she put a wave in it, change the sideswept bangs, or make it less black?

Mia Maestro is the Argentinian actress with the very high forehead. Her hair seemed a bit longer than usual at Cannes today.

In the first long-haired picture of Julie Gayet (whom I've never seen before...she' very cute) she reminds me a lot of Winonna Ryder in the movie Mr. Deeds.

WOW!!! how many people can look that good in pictures that are taken very close-up?!

Normally, when a person (or several people) say that "so-and-so an actress" is one of the most beautiful in the world  I am able to find serious doubts with their reasoning....

but I have to honestly say that I think Aishwarya has got to be one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen!
