Thanks, I guess I'm thinking that because it was an indoor water park, a venue for children,  the water was extra chlorinated which contributed to slippage.  Also, I was thinking possibly it was because I didn't use nail glue over LG on the tips.

Also, I just let my hair fly free, which may have contributed.

For my clients who swim alot, I recommend they braid their hair, and as soon as they get out of the pool, detangle, shampoo, and condition the hair.

I have worn extensions and swum (swum or swam?- need grammer check!) in many lakes and pools over the years.  Just use a little more TLC and a great conditioner.

As far as the shrinkies 'melting' out of the hair, so you mean they slipped out?  If the bond is not strong enough, than having the shrinkies wet for an extended period of time can most certainly make them slip.

I use the MB shrink links, and they tell us to try not to let water sit on the shrink links for too much time.  That said, when I was wearing the MB shrink links, I was swimming laps for exercise at least 3 days a week, and I didn't have a problem with slippage.

WOW that would have to be some hot water on that slide or maybr chemicals in the pool. I tell clients to stay out of the pool because I have seen it matt up extension hair. Not allways but see it twice and you have seen enough!!!! Are you in MI if so maybe we could trade installs

I went down to the Great Wolfe Lodge water park this week and the combination of Redkin Smooth Down (which I love by the way) and the water slides melted 1/2 the shrinkies out of my hair.  Any thoughts?
