Well, I think Metalgirl said that she sews the wefts together using a
zigzag stitch on her sewing machine, then uses upholstery thread to sew
the clips on. :)
omg YES, i am so freakin excited now. but i can't decide if i want wavy
or straight wawa! ummmi think i'll go with straight. the thing
is, my ahir is naturally wavy underneath, in the back. on the
sides, front, and on top it is all straight lol. omg i am so excited
i'm ordering 20" wawa from vixen wigs right now!
can i get toupee clips at sally beauty supply? and is one 50-55" track enough????

yeah there is. Its by metal girl. Its in the methods overview. Its under the regular hair extension board. There really easy to make.If I can do it anyone can, lol.
Yeah the clipins i made looked really natural. They were easy to conceal and blend. It was alot more foolproof for me than strand by strand. But I'm sure i'll get it eventually.
It looks great, Kat! I *love* clip-on pieces. I wore them every day for
about 6 months, and it was the easiest hairstyle ever. I only stopped
wearing them because mine were so long and heavy that wearing them
every day was putting too much stress on the hair they were attached
to, and winter was coming...so I switched to extensions. Still, I miss
that style, and I still wear them sometimes. I get more compliments
with those pieces than I do with my extensions! :)

I think it looks just beautiful Amethystkat! I love the colour match, and you should feel really pretty with the long hair, because it suits you really well! Congrats!
If you want to buy some cheap wefts to make clip ins (so you can have the look of wearing your hair down) buy some of the Wa Wa hair from Vixen Wigs on ebay. It looks like they would have your color, perhaps the 613/27 mix.
Buy some toupee clips, cut your wefts to the widths you need it, sew the clips on, and voila you will have very nice, free flowing hair!
Clip ins are nice.i wore clipins alot before I found out about more permanent extensions. There's not an issue of damage with clipins like the latter as long as you know to place them a little different each time. Thats a good deal for that set. From what I've heard those are supposed to be extra nice. I have bought a couple of synth pony's like that and they sure are nice when your having bad hair days, lol

It looks like a perfect match to me.And its very pretty.I understand about the money thing.I'm not in college. But I have a 2 year old and another on the way.I'm not poor ,but by no means rich. But It will all be worth it once I get my hair in.
well, since i'm a poor recent college grad, my dreams of hair
extensions will not come true for awhile. so i bought one of those
cheap clip-in claws by scunci. i really like it!! it matches my hair
absolutely perfectly, and i feel so damn pretty with this long hair! my
next step up will be the clip in wfts from his & her. then i'll
move onto the real thing when i get some real moola. here are a couple
pics.
my real hair is a little wet, so the part that's pulled back looks a
bit darker. but in the first pic, you can see the little short hairs
that are mine, and how well they're blending with the fake hair.
