wow rae i didnt know that about the washing your hair part, thanks

yah i know how you feel amm, i know this is completely off topic but i remember buying something from delias once, and i looked at the sizing chart cause i was unsure of the size and it told me to get a 5/6 and im like whaa cause im usually a 3/4 but i decided to trust the chart since they sell to a lot of preteens maybe their clothes run smaller.  got my item in that i prioritized for a special event and it was HUGE on me, called them back and asked them if they could help me out and the lady said well it would be easier to just buy another one and get the other one credited back to my card since i needed it really soon.  the problem was after THEIR sizing chart was WRONG with the item they were still going to charge me shipping AGAIN (which was 15 dollars!) i was like thats bullsh*t and the lady didnt even listen to my concern at all was just like 'whatever' and when i emailed a complaint about her being unprofessional and how i was displeased i just got this automated message back, made me sooooo mad ive never boycotted any company in my life until that happened

Among other things, definitely wash your hair less often; a few years ago, I had my hair bleached to white-blonde right before I went to France, and my hairdresser told me to wash my hair once every three days at most (because France has very hard water). Your hair may feel gross for the first week or so of washing it less often, but soon your scalp will adjust and actually start producing less oil.

I'm starting to see more customer service problems with Glamour Hair. There was a discussion about it the other night on the YTF board. Someone placed an expensive order, GH wrote back and said she was out for approx. 6 weeks and would not refund the money but would allow another color selection. The gal had also paid extra for priority shipping and that's not being refunded either. I find that unacceptable.

My last dealing with Glamour Hair, I had a problem with the French Refined turning on me. When I wrote to the gal who runs the site, she had the audacity to tell me I wasn't taking care of it correctly. I told her I didn't want my money back because I know the rules about hair once it's worn, I was just trying to let her know. Her response was argumentative and basically had a "well, you bought it so tough sh*t." I don't know if I just caught her having a bad day or what but her reply was offensive and unprofessional.

The gal who runs Glamour Hair is conducting business suicide. She's rather keep that $120 sale and pi$$ off a customer who'll spread the story on the Internet. I certainly wouldn't consider buying from her again until I hear some stories how she's satisfying customers again and not being a condescending twerp in email.

Welcome!

For silky-straight human hair, I would *only* recommend the following brands:

His and Her Cuticle: http://hisandher.com
Glamour Hair Remy: http://glamourhair.com
Bohyme: http://ebonyline.com/
Extensions-Plus Software: http://extensions-plus.com/

Good luck! :)

I live where the water is really hard and have the same trouble with human hair extensions.  All the iron in the water just eats them up.  Why not try synthetic hair, it's cheaper and easier to maintain.

If you have your heart set on human, I like His and Hers Cuticle hair, but others here will also have recommendations.

I've had great luck with trimco and people here really love plastikhaar (it's really inexpensive).  To match the color you have to buy a color ring or get samples in your color range from the company.

Are you applying the hair with a glue gun or Pot?

     Good Luck

Hi everyone!  I've been wearing Hollywood Hair brand human hair extensions glued to my own hair for a few years now without any problems.  However, I just recently relocated to a new town for work and am having all kinds of issues with my hair.  The water here is really hard and is making my extensions a ratty, frizzy mess.  I was wondering if I needed to switch brands.

Can anyone recommend a really good brand of straight human hair that can be glued in?  If I buy online, how will I be able to match it to my own hair color?

Thanks!
