Razor Cut??

A razor cut is where they take a straight razor, hold your hair out, and cut downwards.  This gives layers and thins out overly bushy hair.  It also gives a slightly "pointier" look to the ends of the hair than layering with scissors would.  If you have longer hair, its not necessarily good for it because of the way it cuts the ends of the hair shaft, but for those not interested in how long their hair gets (who get frequent trims), it would be fine.
