i don't cut my own hair but i know how (so, decide on your own if you want my opinion ) my dad taught me how i just never need to cut my own hair.
let the clippers follow the same pattern as your brush. keep you finger/thumb on the back of the gaurd (at all times...trust me lol) so it doesn't fall off and guide it from the top down (on all sides). make sure you don't press down hard because you'll come out with bald spots ;). just make sure you cut with the grain (direction your hair is going) and it should come out aight. Chris
so let me rephrase this:
1.Cut in the direction you brush
2.Alyways cut from the top down?(so start from the crown?)
3.if im cuting the sides do i still do cut from the top down(like start from the crown and move to the side?)

so you have to be careful. i dont get how the clipper could fall off, lol. i cut my hair a lot of times and never heard or seen anything like what you describe.
but to summarize, its basically shaving your head but from top to bottom just like when u brush? thanks

If you have your own clippers, how do you cut it yourself?
I know how to shave it against the grain, do I just do the exact opposite and start from the top to the bottom like I'm brushing. Cause when I regularly shaved my head before I started brushing I would shave from face to the top of the head.
Thanks for any replies, ONE
