ahhh one thing about powerlon..

i wont be getting the whole colour range
since i only picked out the fancy colours i didnt have so far...

anyway if you like the fibre, there are natural colours aswell : )

some facts after 2 month of wearing some streaks im powerlon
(amm btw- its also the polarblau, i love this colour :))

- its a heavy fibre, theres a bit less hair in a 100g bag then normal
- its very slippery! well i guess thats a good thing if it comes to brushing.
but for pinchbraiding its a bit hard to begin with. but after doing a whole
head i guess i can deal with it : )
im curious what your opinions will be!

sara

I ordered the Powerlon. It was sent on the 20th and is coming via
regular Swiss post.

I forgot to post this from a week ago until Kelliegirl's post jolted my memory.

I emailed Sarah Asking for more information about the powerlon. Specifically whether it would be okay to use curling irons and the like on. She replied that she didn't really use curling irons but it was heat resistant enough and should be fine. I imagine, like the Wawa, that ceramic hot tools are a big ole no-no. I'm very curious to see how this stuff wears long term; if the ends get frazzled easily and react as well to steaming. Whoever gets an order first will have to update right away!

Sarah also told me...::sob:: that she would be discontinuing "some" of the blended colours. She had said something to this extent in the mass email so I asked her about it to make sure I understood correctly. Apparently she doesn't like them as much (as the new plain shades she's gotten in I guess). I'm not sure which ones, though. So any of you kids who are fans of the fancy colours (are there any blended natural shades? never noticed...t'would be nice, though) you may wish to inquire and see if the ones you like are being dropped.
