If you guys think PH is heat sensitive, don't even try Trimco - you get anything hot even NEAR it and it shrivels right up and is totally ruined! Even tho PH isn't technically a thermofiber, I find that it's pretty forgiving with heat implements unless you completely blow it! Just be aware while you're putting in with a heat wand and the PH will be just fine. Way moreso than other synths (not thermos, just regular synths).

That's  a good idea Mocha.  When I did a plastikhaar, shrinkie fill on my mom last week I melted two of the extensions off just below the shrinkie because I wasn't paying attention... tee hee.  It just kind of got crispie and broke off.

YOu will have to be careful but you would have to be careful witht he heat wand.  Hopefully you have a narrow straightening iron.  Cause it certainly canmelt the haar if you aren't careful.

If your iron is big maybe you could use a damp paper towl to protect the PH near the shrinkie?

Ok so i will be buying some plastikhaar soon and using Amm's black shrinkies to insert it, the only thing is I use my very hot hair straighteners to shrink down the shrinkies since i dont have the heat wand and worried about the plastikhaar melting under the heat, does it really melt that quickly?

I just know the straighteners will touch the hair at some point
