I have bought a weft of the AD thermofiber.  I called them to place the order, and I received in in exactly 7 days.  No problem at all.

I would not use a CHI flat iron on the hair unless it's the CHI that has a temperature control.  I have the professional CHI iron with no temp control gauge, and it gets hotter than anything I have ever seen, at probably about 400 degrees.

I"m not sure anyone in the US has successfully bought AD yet.  But wawa is also a therm that withstands up to 180C.  And so is Hot Stuff Fusion.  and Ebonyline Thermal?  anyhow those three are easily enough available.

AD do a thermofibre hair that can withstand straightening irons up to 180 degrees.

you can get wawa from hairsisters.com?  its hairsisters anyhow.  but I'm pretty sure its cheaper on ebay from vixenwigs (just search that store name)

wawa is designed to work with heat styling tools.  so as long as you have them put the curling iron on med or low not high and use a little water prefferably it'll respond very well.

esp if you are straightening i'd say try wawa.  it can handle a lot higher temps.

and like Jenny said.  it's cheap.  so if you can't stand it you can get rid of it no guilt in the pocketbook.

as for the modelling factor.  you're the expert!

There are also flocked straightening irons, as well as a new steam-based one.

In general, I think everyone should at least try synth. You can't beat the price, and it's much less of a hassle than HH.
