I had dreads for years and did it one hundred precent natural. I used no wax or products. And I don't really have a great Type of hair for dreading. You can start with braids ... thats' what I did. and when I was bored I would take out a braid and tease it than roll in my hands until I got a "LOOSE" dready ... Once you get them "set" they will just take on a form or there own. But if you don't want a big amtted mess be sure you "rip" them apart on occasion.
I think I may still have a pick if i can dig it out i will post it

Has anyone here tried to install natural dreads with the method listed in the information site, backcombing and rolling with wax. If so, what was your success? THanks
