unbraided. get the taper 1st, then your braider can work and part around it

 When getting a taper done does your hair need to be unbraided or braided to get your taper. For those who don't know what a taper is, the pictures below show. The braids start further back and around the lining of your hair and sideburns, it is cut short giving it a neat clean cut look.
