Another hair board!!!

The Quinnster board was recently wiped out after a recent hacker attack
on ezBoard in general (not the hairboard specifically). ezBoard has
restored some of the posts, but our paid membership is due very soon
and it's $800, which many of people (understandably) don't feel like
paying to a company that insufficiently protected us from data loss and
didn't do offsite backups like they said they would.

The Heavenly Hair board was created while the Quinnster board is down.
It's being run by different people (except for me; I'm an admin on
Quinn's board and a mod on the Heavenly board), but the new mods and
boardowners are all people from Quinn's board, so it's mostly
continuous.

It's fairly widely accepted that the two boards will not coexist, since
they'll have an identical user base and focus, but the community as a
whole hasn't decided which way to go for sure. Mostly we're waiting to
see how many posts ezBoard manages to restore. I suspect the final
decision will finally come when the paid membership on the ezBoard
expires. The Heavenly Hair forum is self-hosted and free to run, so
that's a big point in its favor. Aside from that, no one knows. 

Anyway to make a long story short: stay tuned. :)
