Let it grow, let it grow, let it grow, as the song goes.
All my life I was told I couldn`t have longer hair than a bob, My hair is straight fine and has a tendency to go a little limp.
When I finally did grow it to a little longer than collarbone it was super shiny, but...sadly I made the mistake of dying it black, and when I wanted to go back to my natural color I lost A LOT to breakage, but I am starting all over again.
One thing you can try, which I am trying, is hair vitamins. As well as supposedly speeding growth, people say their hair has grown in thicker and healthier, and scalp massage as often as you can, a happy follicle produces happy hair.

:) I want to grow my hair to 4 or 5 inches past shoulder length, but I have very fine hair, and I`m worried it will look really ratty. My Mom`s hair is even thinner than mine, but I have some pictures of her from about 5 years ago when she had her hair about that length, and it looked great. My hair is about 1 inch below chin length right now so I want to know what everybody thinks I should do, since this would be a good time for me to start letting it grow because my hair is all the same length. Thanx! :D
