Cybermane, We typically do IBS in NYC and Cosmoprof in Las Vegas. Have you see the new product from Balmain Called doublehair?
All details at doublehair.com. If you would like I can send you a brochure. Perhaps you were on Cora's mailing list and she is no longer with the company so maybe you slipped through the cracks. Just let me know how I can help you. Also I have dreadlock and Braids for 50% off now if you are interested in what I have in stock. Let me know.

CyberMane, I apologise for your neglect from Balmain and Eurohair. If you will contact me I'll make sure you get the service you deserve.geoncox@hotmail.com
Thanks Geon- Currently, my clients seem happy with the Great Lengths, as far as hot fusions are concerned, but I am always open to new stuff. I would be interested in samples or are you going to be in a hair show?
Wow! Im happy to get such a great response to my post. In regards to the Balmain certification workshop... The cost is only $850.00 per student and most of the cost is in tools, Mannequin Heads, training hair, Lunch, etc. It usually last from 10am - 3pm no later than 5pm. Balmain is a Fusion method. The bonds have changed from a softer bond to a harder bond. They are called plus bonds. The hair used is Chinese and Indian hair. The Best quality. The hair is reuseable guranteed for 6 months. Now Doublehair is also availiable. Doublehair.com With the pre-tipped hair you can cut it in half to make a samller extension strand. In the workshop you will learn how to manage the extension hair and keep it looking beautiful with the hair care products. CyberMane, I apologise for your neglect from Balmain and Eurohair. I do use short to long. The shells arn't coper so no green hair. I just ordered the new pro tubes at hair peice you get 250 for $40 so 50 more for the money and I ordered there flatener. I have clients who love the tubes and do well with them since my tool broke I tryed just closing them flat and it has worked very well to my suprise!
I don't think that MB has started making the DVD yet. I think it's just a thought at the moment, so anyone interested in the professional shrink link method, consider taking the class.
Shrink links are my #1 choice for installing human hair, and now I'm hooked on prostyles for installing synthetic hair.
By the way, I took the Balmain class earlier this year and there is nothing special about it. It's just fusion, like all the rest. I found that the bonds are super hard to remove and their hair turns to straw in just a few weeks.
I tryed two diferent distributers for euroloks hair chicago and arizona both suck same crap hair eaven though airazona made me belive that his was better.Not. Ten huh .I will have to work on that! thanks.h by the way my class was all of an hour most spent with her on the phone!!! In an apartment that did not belong to her. Very bad indeed.
Cybermain, Did you take the euro locks in Chicago. I had the same thing happen!!! I hated there hair it would just mat up while the client was sitting there.I had to redo everyone. All that mony and all I got was a broken tool!!!!.
I took it in New York back in 1996. It was only a 5 min. class. The people were very nice and I met the inventor- Felix. He was nice but man, he is a bad business person. The original hair was decent quality except for the glue. However, newer distributors pretip their own hair and sold it to stylists which is why you might have gotten "imitation hair".
FYI- I did a client with HairLocs and it is the same exact quality like EuroLocs. I also noticed that this client who refuses to go back to her stylist, has different textures of 'HairLocs' in her hair. I noticed one of the textures immediately- it was from Hairpiece.com

I so want to take MB's class but I'm waiting for that dvd. Can't aford the trip to Calif. right now.
I asked about their DVD, and I spoke to Mark directly and he said it may take awhile for the DVD. He sounded as if he has not yet started {but I could be wrong}. He would pay you a visit if you gather I think about 10+ stylist so you all could avoid the CA trip.

I had NO LUCK with the Balmain. I bought the complete kit for $250 at a NYC show in 2002{?}. I found the tips to be 'gummy'. Perhaps the glue is now refined? I do like their dreads though! But as a hair company, did you at least keep my record and send me info on THE LASTEST COMPANY CHANGES??? NOOOOO!!!
As for the EuroLocs, I had unprofessional experiences for the price I paid for their class- $1600 in 1996. From the slow hair delivery, not getting client referrals, piece of sh*t clamp which broke in half and I had to pay $500 for a new one, and last but not least the tips of these hair disingerates- NOT REUSABLES $2100 and I as a professional NEVER GOT 1 REFERRAL FROM THEM
WORD OF ADVICE TO HAIR COMPANIES: Offer full day trainings, phone support, 800 phone numbers, easy internet orders, wholesale to professionals, warranties on your products, national advertising to create HUGE CLIENT REFERRALS. This is my dream hair company. So far Great Lengths, International Hairgoods, ProStyles TOPS MY LIST!!!
PS, I have bought my airfare to Sacramento, CA to take the Mark Barrington class-
I paid $1500 for euro locks class and my tool broke two years later . They claim 1/2 is for the tool. I just ordered the flat tool from hair peice for $50
They must be doing somthing new then because that's what she had. They thred it on I showed her my shrinks and yep thats what it was. I think maybe there trying to get on the shrink band wagon but there using there nail tip hair
