Can't wait to receive it, I'll post my views, thanks Amm at least you've put my mind at rest xxx  Did you get the pre-tipped hair as well then Amm.  I was considering getting that in the double drawn as I remember someone on this thread saying that she could fit two strands of the tipped single drawn in the shrinkie.  I make my tips medium so I get more hair in a client's head without using loads of tips x

Yes, same hair. I've only gone as light as #22 and I think it's gorgeous. The #22 and #613 look very similar.

The only remy on the RK site is the single drawn, I believe. Single drawn has those scrawny ends, that's why I like the double so much better. I've got some single drawn here and the tips are fat enough for shrinkie size but then the ends are zilch. You really have to order quite a bit extra in length to get thick ends.

And I've heard bad things on both remy and non-remy/single drawn and double drawn/cuticle and cuticle-free. Seriously, I can't find a group anywhere that all agrees on a single type of hair. All one can really do is lean toward something that gets fairly consistent positive reviews and hope a good batch comes your way. :)

Hope your order turns out good. I think you'll find the texture interesting. :)

I've just placed an order with RK for 8oz 613 double drawn.  Is this going to be sh*t hair then and not be remy?  Is this the hair that you received Amm and is nice x

Hmm. The double drawn through RK is not advertised as remy - only the single drawn is. The confusion came during my correspondence with Ravi when she was referring to my shipments as remy. She misspoke/I relayed. Don't care. Love the hair.

Remy double drawn is available through the indianhairs.com site and is $46.25 per 20" machine weft minus shipping. Really shweeeeet price that. I have remy double drawn and it's real nice and soft. I'm just scared to death to try and color it.

Fina I was just wondering about that!  Do you know yet when you will have your hair in, I do still want some! And if any one has ordered single draw from RK? Is it cheeper to order single in longer length then cut to make double draw from rk or do you think the price your getting is better?

The hair that I got from India is Remy Double Drawn. Maybe that's why it's more expensive than the RK?

Well Im not sure we have determined whether or not the double drawn is remy.......

Either way, RK is getting really good reviews for the most part. Its a thumbs up for me, I wouldnt hesitate to buy more hair from them. The RK hair is by far better than most of the hair that Ive ever seen or used(and paid ALOT more for) Ive been wearing human hair in light blonde colors for several years now! I havent had the chance yet to install any of it on my head, but Ive washed curled and played with the RK quite a bit and its performing well!

Hi again girls!

Well thanks so much for the quick response.  Very helpful and I am glad that I now know that remy is only single drawn hair and NOT the double drawn. But I hope that all you girls who have already ordered double drawn will still have success.  It looks luscious in some of the pics. Thanks for pointing that out. Well I have ordered strait #27.  Can`t wait!  I live in Australia and am hoping that it will be as quick as or close to the delivery times as to the US. I am wondering what shampoo and conditioner would be best.  Would pantene be enough but with a weekly treatment of something more salon quality?  Has anyone used Terax Crema on remy hair?  I heard that it alters the ph in your hair and makes it baby soft.  Sometimes I heat up olive oil or almond oil and add a sachet of dissolved gelatine in it. (You have to dissolve the gelatine in  a little hot water first then mix with the oill).  Reason for the gelatine is that it is pure protein!  I leave it in anywhere from half an hour to all day and i tell you it does seem to make my hair more healthy feeling and richer!  But you do need to use extra shampoo after to get the oil out.

Oh I asked about that whole "are we sure it is remy and double drawn" bit a week or two ago and amm said she had the remy double drawn.  Now whether or not someone lied to her is one thing but I can't imagine she bought it thinking it wasn't remy.  and some people have had really good experiences with it.

Arghh.  I need to get my act together and get some samples over to my microscope.

No the double drawn hair is not remy... Only single drawn hair is root to root....

95% of the indian suppliers only sell non remy double drawn hair, and remy double drawn hair is much more expensive and (what I know from my suppliers) only until 22 inches availible....

(sad, very sad)

But the double drawn hair is not remy.... That's why it tangels.....

I have my blonde (22) and brown (8) here, it is great and very smooth after washing and blow drying...

I will definetly order some more hair for my girls...

I like it very much. It's excellent hair at a very reasonable price, even with shipping, imo. For many years, I have paid more and gotten less. The straight that I've bought all has a slight wave to it once you wash it, some more wavy than others. But it's very fine textured and matches my white girl hair very well. I recommend it based on my experience with the #4 and #2 straight hair.

hello-

i know there are alot of satisfied customers out there however, i am not one of the. i ordered 613 blonde 16 inch length wefts, double drawn straight, it had a beautiful wave to it when washed and dryed.

however, it did tangle, and it shed alot. i have 2 full wefts available for sale along with a color ring. one weft i used 12 inch wide piece from, other wise its intack too-

everyones experiences with hair is so different, this hair is very silky and felt good, however, i am just used different hair i guess.

i DO have pics poested in another thread

Bringing beauty, one head at a time...

Hi I am new on this forum and a self-confessed extension queen!  I was hoping someone could tell me asap how good is this RK hair?  I saw their site and for the price wonder if the hair can really be cuticle hair and tangle-free?  I am interested in strait with a slight wave to it. I also want it to last!
