that's what I do. Once you have put on your du rag
make sure you pull the extra material down and tight under the tow tie
strings. This ensure that your rag is tight and making contact with
your hair.
Alos a wave cap is cool but I have trouble with it staying on my head unless I wear a du rag on top of it.

if you wear your du rag like 50 cents style. then before you tie the back that hangs, tug or pull on it a lil and rub your hands down the parts that give you trouble. you'll fell your du rag tighten up a lil its good. but dont tie real tight.
