Hi all thanks for replying. I have decided NOT to blowdry on a daily basis, even if it would be for 5-10 minutes. My hair is growing and doing just fine without the excess heat. I don't want to mess things up now since I've come such a long way with the health of my hair. I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Bubble hair is not a disease, nor is it a genetic defect. It is caused by any sort of mistreatment, and eliminating that mistreatment can minimize breakage.

Anyway,I was wondering if there is anyone here that wash their hair  or condition wash daily, and use a blowdryer for about 5-10 minutes so that the hair isn't soaking wet? I was wondering because I condition wash daily and I do enjoy it but I hate dripping wet hair down my back. So for the past 3 days after I condition wash, I have used my blowdryer. I do NOT dry until my hair is bone dry, it is still damp, just not dripping/soaking. Would this be too damaging to continue on a daily basis? Thanks in advance. Oh, I almost forgot, my hair is relaxed. Thanks!

Welcome Iluvlonghare!  I know exactly what you mean.  I hate dripping hair also but I would not blow dry everyday...too damaging.  If you have to blow dry try a cool setting.  I would suggest you try plopping though.  It should eliminate drippies. This link should explain how to do it. http://www.motowngirl.com/plopping.htm

I usually wrap my hair in a dry towel for about five minutes, then take it down, comb it, and put it up for another five minutes in a fresh towel. It's barely damp at that point.

Even 5-10 minutes of heat is a lot if used EVERYDAY. I hand wring water from my hair, use a towel lightly to blot and then pull back in a bun to dry. Once the bun is wrapped, I don't have any dripping water.

After I get finish washing, I wring the hair out with my hands, I towel dry ( scrunch in sections) then place a COTTON HeadWrap or Cotton cloth around my head for about 5 to 10 minutes. Cotton absorbs moisture and it usually absorbs the excess water droplets. After that place any products, if need be.

Personally, I wouldn't do it.  After I wring my hair out with my hands its usually damp and not dripping anymore.    You can try using the cold shot on your dryer if you have one.
