If u dilute demineralized water and the 25 vol. developer, equal parts it will be half the original amount.
25 vol basically means 25 vol peroxide to 75 vol. water...
Also added two different developer strengths such as 40 vol. to 30 vol. will NOT make it 70 vol. It will be around 25 vol. That's becuz there is more percentage of water contained in the solution so the more water u add to peroxide, the lower the strength gets.
Hey does anyone know if you can make 10 or 15 volume developer out of 25? My hair dresser mentioned there was a way to do it in passing one day, but didn't give me the details. The reason I ask is because I have a bunch of 25. If I put in half as much 25 developer as usual would this be like using a lesser volume of developer?
