Putting in a curlier texture is usually not a problem. The only problem is putting in a straight texture. Part of it is that curly hair is naturally straighter in the top, because the weight of the length pulls it straighter- so straighter hair over curlier extensions mimics that effect.

First of all, I love the bottom pic. That's exactly the texture I love
most when wearing extensions. It's tousled and messy and even a
bad cut looks good in all that.

With enough hair added in, you shouldn't have any problem at all
going curly to waist. If it doesn't blend in well, keep moving up the
head adding more layers. One of the biggest problems with hair that
doesn't blend is not enough extension hair installed.

i am going to be doing fusion on a client with wavy sholder length hair, she wants to take her overly layered wavy sholder length hair to curly waist legth hair. has anyone has success doing a texture change like this with fusion? this is the curl she wants (got first pic from a post by koffee brown, thanx koffee)

and this is close to her current wave

and god said let there be hair extensions.
