I agree, I noticed when I used to look for a job I would notice the seperation. Most of the people doing the hiring are majority of the times white. I noticed it and hate it that more minorities were looking for jobs instead of making them. I decided to do my own thing and stake my own claim in this land of dreams. I think we should all be entrepreneurs but I know that it is not for everyone. I know that many people do not feel the same way I do but we got to start owning and create empires. We all know how to be creative.
There are many things that people of other races don't know about us, even more so if they are white people. People of color tend to know more about each other and more about white people than they know about us.
It because we are seperated by income, housing, friends, health, racial class, discrimination, and FEAR of each other. People of color tend to work the same jobs, live in the same area, and respect each other more, while whites are seperated from the rest of the world.
This why some of the questions they ask seem so dumb. They're just trying to learn things that their parents, school, or friends didn't teach them.
We may ask them dumb questions too. We have to remember if you don't ask you won't know.

All the people that hate I think just don't like the results. When you got somethiing nice clean and flashy you demand respect. Not everybody got waves so all they can do is hate. 70% hate and 30% give you props. I hate that ppl get jealous at the ppl that want to look good and respect their appearance. Jealous still envy.
i never let anyone see me brushin or wearing a durag.. i never go out with durags cuz i dont think its proper.. but thats just me .. and i dont brush in public for the same reason.. plus i think its better to be spinnin with out a trace of evidence.. so wen peeps ask.. i just simply say:i brush:

yeah, when i first started brushin, all the lil white girls was like, "y r u brushin... u have no hair" now i see the same white girls and they like, "omg... ur hair is soo long!" my hair is like a quarter of an inch long or less they like to rub it too and i tell them they better not rub it the wrong way! lol
