i got some modacryl fibre...
and its rubbish... like the very shiny doll hair...

but i dont know what fibre exactly it is...

anyway i trashed it : )
need some great hair?

Hard to say. Ask afrocare what "number" it is. A lot of that is
numbered by the manufacturer; like, S40, MT-20, etc. If they know,
let me know and I'll be able to tell you if I have that one.

I have some that looks EXACTLY like PH. One wash and the stuff
turned to crunchy fritos on the end.

All modacrylics are not created equal.

Nope.

Modacrylics have a specific chemical structure while monofiber is a more general term.

I have some *amazing* modacrylics from overseas and some that are being specially blended for testing. I am blown away by some of the textures. Some have worn very well while others have no business being hair extensions.

I dont think so, its much more expensive and I believe you can dye it
