OT: acne scars

@Renee...all I know is that when I drunk soda my face would break out and at times I never even got a bump just dark spots. Some pimples would also leave causeing dark spots. Anyways, I went to doctor after docter that just told me " well black people get dark spots" that answer was not good enough for me!  I went to different products. Black soap and shea butter helped but it stopped about after 3 months...the shea butter became too oily for my skin. So I found the Zapzyt and I am renewed!

Yeah, I use it on my face...I love it.  The only thing is that it kinda stinks.  Right now i'm using a sample I got from Nassabb...I like it but I'm still on the hunt for some shea butter.  I have no idea why it's so hard for me to choose.  I guess cuz I'm particular about what I put on my face...and hair also.  Yeah, I need to use black soup all over also.  That's great stuff.

Me too.  I love it! Where did you get yours from? I also use shea butter afterwards as a moisturizer.

Does anyone use Black soap?  I love it! 

Ingredients: plantain skins, palm kernel oil, natural solium, cocoa pod, and palm oil.  Used to releive acne, oily skin, clear blemishes. 

It can also be used to wash your hair.

I agree.  AA skin care is somewhat different from white.

i'm not so sure about vitamin E..i've tried a lot of products..there's one on the market from Neutrogena, called the acne fade peel..it's good, because it fades the acne scars, and helps prevent new acne from cropping up..i have hormonal acne which can be a bear..right when you think it's over, another one or two big ones pop up..

the acne fade peel is not very expensive..and not drying..there is an acne system that goes with it, but don't bother..it's for pretty serious acne..a few folks in the "skin care" forum have been using it and are keeping each other posted with the results..so far...very good..it's been three weeks and my old acne scars are fading, slowly, but they are fading. thank gawd.
