I melt my pomade (beeswax) occasionally because it will make it last longer and it's easier to spead. Also when you put the pomade in your hair in a liquid like form it will cool to the pattern of your waves giving them a better hold and reducing the amount of frizzy that may occur later in the day.

I also heat it when I'm nearing the end of the tin and mix a little blue magic in with it to stretch it out a bit.

The College Method:

  1. Turn iron to its highest setting.
  2. Position iron so that the hot side is steady and facing upward
  3. Place ur tin on the iron, spin it occasionally.

The College Method 2:

  1. Take a blow dryer and place it on the highest and hottest settings
  2. Blow it into the tin and occasionally stir with a slim marker or pencil.

With the second method you only melt what you will use.

i tried it once
1. what i did was take the pomades and put it in a bowl
2. then put the bowl in the microwave for about 30-40 seconds
3. then stir it up with a spoon
4. put it in a empty pomade can.
