I'd think putting in some type of texturizer that helps achieve curly/wavy hair would help, but make sure to apply it according to directions.

Hey everyone - I'm thinking about changing my hair style.  I'm a black guy with the typical lined up low cut .. but lately I want something a little different.

For those who have seen Hitch - Will smith's hair style is sorta along the lines.  A lot of people have this hair style though, just a little fro with some sort of product in it to make it sorta wavy / curly.

What do I need to do to get this sort of hair style besides just growing out my hair - i.e. what do I need to put in it and so on.
