If you're having problems with getting it to stay in place due to a mind of its own I also thought of something a stylist gave my bf for his curly hair.. I'm not sure what the heck the actual name is but its actually meant to give hair some weight so it doesn't fly off.

If you're really having problems with your side bang I'd go back to the stylist and ask him/her to show you some products and how to use them to get the style you wanted and how she/he intended for you to style your hair!

Oi, the trouble with bangs!

That really helped. I found another tip that works good, and I have wavy hair too. Take a big round brush for volume and dry it over to one side, and the dry them over to the other side, but that gives them alot of body. But I'm going to try your idea today maybe they won't be so dang poofy!!

Hey, I feel your pain! I also have a side bang which has a mind of its own! Here is my soultion that I use. (I have wavy/curly hair so maybe this will work for you if you have the same kind of hair)

While your hair is damp apply a hold product to your hair and comb it through. (I'd suggest one, but I've yet to find something that i LOVE..) Not too much though! You don't want it to get gunky! A little goes a long way.

Next I dry out my hair with a flat brush on high/hot until almost dry and then i use high/cold to finish it off.

If that still hasn't gotten the kinks out i resort to my flat iron. I find that if i angle my flat iron the way i want my hair to go it works a little better than if i just pulled all the hair down and straightened it down on my forehead.

And last but not least a finishing spray for some shine!

I hope that helps

I just got my hair cut last week, and I got the Hilary Duff side swept bangs look. I watched my stylist style them, and now that I have got home and tried to do it myself they look awful.

Do any of you know how to style them?

Any replies are greatly appriciated!!

Belle
