How to grow hair long without parents going crazy

Just some guy wrote: Ok, I've been thinking of growing my hair out, but recently my mum has been bugging me about getting a haircut (she doesn't know that I want to grow it, I recon she'd flip). So my question is, how to I get my hair to actually look reasonable and 'not too girlish' while growing my hair, and thus prevent parental objection?

I had the same problem and I told my mom I was growing out my hair because it was the fashion.
Now My hair is 4 1/2 inches below my waste. Just
mix eggs and shampoo together. It gives your hair the vitimans it needs. After I did that, my hair grew
1 1/2 iches in one month. After my hair gets ratty,I
trim my hair 1/3 of an inch and it grows back in 2 weeks.
