I use Schwartzkopf for everything.  Ever since EuroLocs used it as their color swatch for their extensions instead of a color ring, I had to buy the swatch book and somehow just got hooked.

I use redkin for all the rest

I do love Schwartzkopf thats what we use in the salon. I love there high lift blonds and there lightener. I have also used redkin for years and shades are great. At home because the suply house for redkin and paulmitchell is near by I use those alot.

It really depends on the distribtor in your area. Here Maly's is great for suplying classes as is windsor beauty which carys Schwartzkofp. Go to them and see what they have to offer you. Some times the classes are free or discounted . Go with the distributor who will give you the most suport. The best line is only as good as your knowledge of it!

1.:  Scruples Blazing are a series of ligtheners that lighten the hair and deposit a tone.

2:Permanent line: I liked Socolor, very predictable by high ammonia content, so I don't use it anymore.

Used Scruples High Definition color, liked it but the reds faded out too quick.  It also had a demi lotion that when you mixed it with the tint, it neutralized the ammonia in the tint and made the permanent tint into a demi.

Now I'm playing around with Framesi Furtura.  It's an Italian color, and the European colors (like Goldwell, Wella, Schwartzkopf) are known to have fantasic, long lasting reds.  This color also has a demi lotion that you mix with the tint that turns the permanent into a demi.

Demi color:  Matrix color synch is the bomb!  Good gray coverage for a demi and very good for lowlighting overly blond hair.

Redken Shades EQ- I use the lighter shades all the time as toners- they product the best creamy, natural looking blonds in all tones.

I haven't been to a color class in a while.  They don't have then in my area a lot.  I want to schedule a Framesi class soon though.
