Just thought I share

She was talking about the texture and how little I had to wash it. I had in a braidout and I just pinned it up. And she was complaining how she wishes she could do that.

 I was at work today and a co-worker was complaining about her hair. She was a white girl with straight hair and was talking about how much she hates her hair because she has to wash it everyday or it will get too oily. Then she says to me that she wishes she had my type of hair so she wouldn't have to wash so often. And that wasn't the first time I heard a white girl say she wishes she had our type of hair. Well that got me thinking about when I was little how when I was little I wanted straight white girl hair. Now that I'm older I realize I'm happy with my hair even though it can be hard to manage sometimes esp. around touch-up time. Everything has it's pros and cons just like 4b hair can hold a style better than 1a and 1a hair can be easier to comb through at times than 4b. Sorry so long. I just had to share my thoughts.
