Honey and olive oil is a good deep conditioner.  The honey makes the hair really shiny.  I mostly use extra virgin olive oil on my dry hair.

I've always love L'real vive products but id only use
them if nothing else i use was available,, today i
thanx pokahantas! ibought a new blow dryer,, but it
was one of those small flat styler ones,, with the
comb and brush attachments,, has anyone ever
heard of these? i think you would only see them in
the bss,, anyway,, i also wanted to know about using
olive oil,, Over the weekend i put olive oil and water in
my hair and left it thru the night,, i noticed that my hair
was extremely smooth and tangle free while it was in
it and my hair is never soft anymore in its curly state,,
anyway when i washed and straightened its just
amazing though i dont know if it was due to the mask
or the olive oil LOL,, do any of u use olive oil to deep
condition???
Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I am hair OBSESSED

I heard that L'oreal Vive for women of color is supposed to be good. A lady on another site said that it's even better than NTM mask. She wasn't even a woman of color.
Type: 3c/4a Natural

That's ok.  I can get wordy about hair stuff too.  I'm glad the fructis mask worked for you.  I might try it as soon as I use up some of my products.  I have a sample pack from Oyin coming in and it's supposed to be great.  I can't wait to try it.

The Pantene relaxed and natural was ok for me but I hardly ever use it now.  At one point I was addicted to the conditioner.  They have a new hydrating curls mask that I really want to try, but I can't...**repeating to myself**  No more products!!!  I have heard good reviews on the hydrating curls line.

yep,, do give it a shot,, im just about convinced
that it is better than the NTM mask,, my hair is soooo
soo soft again ,, i was pissed off last week when the
NTM mask didnt deliver ,, im gonna get so more jars
of the garnier,, its cheaper and though i dont love the
overpowering smell,, it seems to be keeping its
promise,, ALso i quit using the nioxin spray and went
back to the pantene relaxed and natural wrap and
set lotion spray,, id been using it for months with
perfect results but then decided to try nioxin which
seemd to work but i think the pantene is better,, its
funny cuz i HATE other pantene products lol,, the
relaxed and natural shampoo is HORRID for me ,,
the second ingredient is petrolatum and it was like
vaseline all up in my hair lol and my scalp was itchy!!
anyhooo,, i think the spray is great and im thinking of
buying the garnier smoothing milk......(sorry i made
that so long,, i get very wordy about hair stuff LOL)

I was thinking of trying that.  Their conditioner and shampoo are good.

hey guys,, im the chic who was raving about the
NTM mask but last week it seemed not to do much
for my hair,, the NTM shampoo is excellent though!!!
(the best ive ever used) anyway i tried the garnier
smooth and sleek mask again and my hair feels very
quenched and softer,, i think this may be better than
the NTM ,, i will see how it works for a few of weeks
to judge,,,, its also way cheaper,, what ido is mix it
with water and cover all my hair with it piece by piece
,, i used almost the entire jar but it was very
conditioning and my hair feels rehydrated and
strong:-)
