If you don't want bangs then #1 is out unless you part them which is not really "in".
#3 is a good option but you have to cut alot off... it's easy to pull off spiked hair even with a larger forehead... I see it all over the place!
#2, if you are going to keep it long trim it a little so the new style fits your face. Maybe cut the bangs a little shorter and spike them up and give a little width on the side too... go with the messy look with bangs spiked off your forehead.

I have a long face and a fairly broad forehead and I was debating how to style my hair. I've had a longish style, kind of like beach hair/mop top, but short around the sides and back with bangs that went to my eyebrows. My hair is fairly thick.
The thing is I like my hair this length and it makes my face look less oval. But I'm sick of bangs. My options:
1. Keep the style which suits my face and either mess up or part the bangs.
2. Keep the style and lose the bangs. Right now I am using gel to push all of the bangs back off my forehead to train the hair to stay back. I see people with large foreheads and bangs gelled alot, it isn't bad is it?
3. Get it cut short and spike the bangs... which is a big change haha
