i had my hair with a permanent color and a relaxer
for years and i wondered why i could not maintain
any length,, about 2 and a half years ago i stopped
coloring and my hair is is MUCH better condition and
is finally growing long again, anyway i guess if u
must do both u MUST deep condiiton alot and be
very very gentle with it or you wont have much left,,
both of those processes damage the hair
Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I am hair OBSESSED

Hi...I would like to know if anyone has had success with prem color (going at least two shades lighter) and also having relaxed hair.  If so, what is the secret because everyone I ask say do one or the other.  I need perm color because of grey semi-perm does not work.  I need a relaxer because I work and sweat a lot.  Also, if you only did color how did you maintain a straight style while going to the gym?

THANKS LISA!
