Kate- thanks for the heads up, I was wondering what I had said wrong.
Metal- it's great to hear there weren't problems arising because I am moving in this direction and I figured if anyone on here could give testaments about clip-ins it would be you. Thanks for all of your info.
Cyber- I totally believe her work is great. I have looked at her site and what she has done with her own hair and it gave me great hope, this is how the post came to be in the first place. Also, I love your site, it is very informative. I think I found more information on there about certain techniques than I could find anywhere else.
I've seen metalgirl's clip ins in person when I met her in California. They look amazing! She does have fine hair but somehow she makes it work! I was very impressed! So I did the same clip-on method that metalgirl showed me for my intergration client who has a bald spot on top of her head. She really loves it! She likes temporary {daily wear} pieces too.
However, I strongly feel that if you have the artistic hands and the patience, then you can make anything beautiful whether on crappy hair or on thick beautiful hair!
I do make it a point to try any extension method that I put on a client, because if it will work on my crappy hair, than it should work on anyone!
For the past few years, clip ins have been my preference. Mostly because of the comfort factor. I can take them out when I'm just hanging out at home or working out and don't need to look gorgeous. Besides, I have been with my husband for 9 years now, so there's no need to impress him anymore! LOL!
Also, I don't have to shower and blow dry all that hair daily. It's really just easier for me. I have some pinchbraids and the seamless in my hair as a 'tester' to see how long they will last.
My natural hair, which is really crappy anyway, is no better or no worse from 15 years of wearing extensions.

Hey Amanda, which of these were you calling me? I think that was uncalled for. I think it was a reasonable question for someone who promotes and helps many with clip-ins.
"When people come to see me for a consultation I have them dig through my hair all the time so they can see what I am wearing. I'm currently wearing plastik haar wefts, a seamless extension, and some pinchbraids. I encourage people to look, because they want to see what the attachment looks like and to get reassurance that it will look good.
No one can tell I have extensions, they just think I have all this luscious hair, so they figure if I can get my hair to look good with extensions, than I can do the same for them."
I was just wondering if this is a temporary reprieve from your standard or was problems beginning to develop?
For my latest install I only glued in two wefts of hair and made 3 very thick clips in to wear when I want a more enhanced thicker look. So I was wondering if you are wearing a combo or completely replaced your regular routine of daily clip-ins.
