Yeah, i saw that, it kinda helped too...but you know what REALLY helped? I posted a message similer to this one in the Curly Hair Board and i got 2 replies which had lots of info. I tried your bun idea too, that worked as well, so now i have TONS of choices to choose from whenever i want to curl my hair..!!

I agree with Robert but I also think you should use a product like V05 hairdressing to combat the cotton candy factor.

try taking damp hair and making a bunch of little buns and clip them until they dry completely.

Or use wet braids and let them dry.

Hey pplz...i reli need ur help...
i hv thick.straight and shoulder length hair...and i reeeeeellllliii wana make them curly or wavy...
but the problem iz tht i dunt wanna damage them by using a curling iron and plus tht takes to much time. i tried using gel and mousse when my hair was wet...but afta it dried almost all the waves wer gone and my hair was as puffy as cotten candy!

...so pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez help me out guys!!!!...any tips wud be a HUGE help
