hm yeah and if you wanna straighten your hair, than you can always use leave in conditioner which can protect your hair and i have this awesome stuff that i spray in it and it protects your hair from being fried. treseme also has spray that you spray in your hair. its not expensive and works great for me

Yes, straightening irons damage hair because they apply heat. They make the moisture evaporate out of the hair strand. Heat also makes proteins warp, and hair is made of proteins. Have you considered going natural and curly?

I am a natural curly hair girl, and i straighten my hair (not everyday, cause i heard it could damage ur hair, it's that true, why?) anyways after straighten it, i still have those small hairs sticking out, so I HAVE TO use gel, but the problem is it gets curly again, does anyone knows a product or something that wont't do that.

Thanks, I will appreciate it, if yall help me.
