AnaisSatin says that there might be a problem with ur thyroid, i agree. To fix that try accupressure. Press where your the end og ur thumb bone meets your palm. So the meaty-est part of your hand. Press hard, if it hurts that meens that there is something wrong with your thyroid gland. Put pressure one that spot atleest 3 times a day. It'll get better then. Meanwhile, try some shampoos the previous posters recommended.

Have you been clarifying regularly with .. um.. a clarifying ... uh. thing? (Clarifying rinses, shampoos, solutions, heavy jojoba oiling, etc.) I find that vinegar rinses work best. You could also pair it with a shampoo specifically labeled such, e.g. Suave Daily Clarifying, for best results. If you're worried about the hair loss, you'll want to have your thyroid checked, or see your doctor about any vitamin deficiencies.
I like Thicker Fuller Hair Product. It's green, comes in a clear bottle... get
the moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. It will also restore the
fullness of the hair you lost. And remember only use a dime sized
amount of product on short hair and quarter sized amount on longer hair!

I'm been experincing heavy shedding/ hair loss (chunks of hair falling out in the shower/combing) over the past year. I think the cause might be build up from my conditioners (I have used globs and globs of herbal essences, pantene, and dove sometimes i don't even rinse them out really well) The hair loss is not in patches and there's nothing wrong with me, could it be from build up on the scalp? If so, will vinegar rinses work on my scalp? And also, could anyone recommend a good no build-up conditioner (i recently stopped the use of all conditioners) and a effective clarifying shampoo that has worked?
