Anti dandruff shampoo and hot oil treatment are known to make color fade. Hope it helps.
Yeah Head & Shoulders works great on freshly dyed hair, the dye
(especially if it's only semi-perm) will just rinse out. Careful
with towels though, use old ones :)

I wanted to go
from bleached out late-summer brown back to my natural medium brown -
richen it up for fall...so I went to a professional salon expecting the
best.
My hair color 'expert' went with a semi-permanent dark blonde, which I
agreed to and felt comfortable with but I think my hair was too porous
because no sooner was it dry when I realized the reality: Jet-Black
Joan-Jett Goth.
I have pale skin so it really looks quite ridiculous and
unnatural. Even my co-workers commented on my "jet-black" rocker
look. Not what I was going for.
Called the stylist and she recommended that I ride it out over the
weekend, wash it a few times, etc. and that by next week it
should fade to the desired color. If not, I can go back in. I had
it colored on Wednesday - and have washed it SEVERAL times since then,
spent this morning in the sun, etc. Its not fading at all.
I've used Clairol before and done a better job.
I realize I'm impatient, but I'm getting to the point of buying a color
remover product or trying baking soda and shampoo mixture. Are
there others that work?
Are there any other ways to lighten a semi-permanent - FAST?
