Okay, thanks.  I don't think I'll try that one either.  I really need to look into a good heat protectant that is also affordable. My friend was telling me about a serum (not sure if it was heat protectant) by Biolage and it was 13 dollars!  She said it was really good and I was tempted but I ended up getting my Paul Mitchell Heat Seal which wasn't much cheaper...$10.

Well,, no it didnt seem to make my hair dry,, but i do
feel as though i should've looked into heat
protectants even a little more b4 i blew 15 bucks
becuz i really dont like anything waxy on my hair,, I
didnt know that heat protectants could cause
dryness!! anyhoo i checked my bottle of pantene
wrap and set lotion and its supposed to protect
during heat styling so i think for now ill just continue
using this,, cuz it doesnt weigh my hair down unless
i really use alot!!,, I actually do that same thing of just
adding more and more product to my hair becuz im
scared it wont have enough in it LOL!! but u wouldnt
wanna do that with the redken stuff becuz ur hair
would be sticking 2gether big time!! at least mine
did,, anyway i dont think ill be using this stuff anymo
lol.........

I'm glad you did a review on this.  I'm heavy handed also...even when I think I've applied too much product, I apply more.  So did it make your hair dry or did it come out silky and smooth?  You may have to experiment with heat protectants.  I have a hard time with them....they tend to make my hair dry.

I bought the Redken smooth down heat glide heat
protectant becuz i needed one since i do use heat 3
to 4 times a week,, anyhoo, i used it yest in
combination with my precious Pantene wrap and set
lotion which actually is supposed to protect hair from
heat, b4 i blow dried my hair,,well i may have used
too much becuz i found it to be gunky and waxy and
made my hair stick together,, so bad in one spot that
it actually tangled and i had to pull it apart,, but i think
it is probably a good product if ur not heavy handed
with it,, im used to using large amounts of serums
but that wont work with this,, anyway just wanted to
review it if anyone was thinkin of trying it ,,,(it also
hads a very pleasant smell)
