if you read it again- it says the hair lasts that long, not the links

and yes if its good hair it could very well last that long or longer!

proper care is a must.

Whats the longest that microrings/hairlocks/dinkielinks have lasted for anyone? this website http://www.hairangel.net/wst_page4.html says that they last from 6 to 12 months with proper tightening.
fyi I know my spelling sux!
