Heat seals with human hair?

I did it for years. The only thing I've found is it works much better with a 4 strand braid which would require me to use an assistant (Dome method). I haven't mastered a box braid on my own and good assistants are hard to find.

I have had it done with human hair. They still used the synthetic hair to make the seals but the hair used was human. It turned out great.

I have read that it is possible but most of the posts I have read is with synthetic. 

So my question is, why mostly synthetic, does it not work as good with human hair?
