I know what you mean--the moolah factor.  I am having my next set put in but the one after that I am going to attempt to do myself.  That could be scarey but worth a try.  I think doing every other install myself would be cool.  Save a little $$ that way for other beauty treatments!

thx again for your help...

Glad I could help! I know what it's like to wanna get that order of ph in so
you can get started on waiting for it to arrive!

I'm not wearing PH right now, I just ordered a mess o' 23" pretipps in
50mm from Sara, who said they'll be ready in a month (waaa! I have no
patience!)... my stylist is going to linkie them in for me. She has a lady
who's going to start renting a chair from her starting this month, who
pinchbraids in loose extensions, but right now I don't feel like paying the
extra moolah$ for the time and effort that takes!      I dunno, by the
time I tally up the extra cost from the pretipps versus the extra moolah
for pinchbraiding in bulk hair, I'd probably come out even!

Thx for your help, Kimberly, you  rock!  That really makes it clearer.  I think I'll go w/ Dunkelbraun if it is a similiar darkness to Dinkel--or even a touch lighter. And I think I can blend a teeny tiny bit of the blonde w/ them to lighten them a smidge if I need to.  Yah, I think that would do the trick.

Do you wear Plastikhaar right now?  What method do you use?  At what length do you wear it?

Oh, and:

"Dinkel (to match my roots), Walnuss (to bring in the warm light brown),
Blond (for some subtle highlights)"

I think those colors look great together!

Happy Monday!

Nope, Dunkelbraun is just a *touch* lighter than Dinkel, but that's
because Dunkelbraun is more red (at least in comparison, side by side),
more dark dark auburn, while Dinkel is dark brown. (red makes it look
lighter to me)

Rotbusch is like Dinkel, only a lighter brown. I don't see red in Rotbusch,
especially when I compare it to dunkelbraun & walnuss.

'Fraid I don't know what the color levels mean, but I can definitely help
you in comparing colors and describing them!

Hi Kimberly.

I have one more PH hair color question, purty plz.  Is Dunklubraun a lot darker than Dinkel?  If Dunkelbraun is a level 4 then it will be too dark.  I am going to go w/:

Dinkel (to match my roots), Walnuss (to bring in the warm light brown), Blond (for some subtle highlights)

BUT I'd like one more color in a level 6ish warm brown.  Is Rotbusch about the same color level as Dinkel only warm/reddish?  Is Dunklebraun too dark? What I want is the same color level as Dinkel only a warm/redish brown.

MANY THANKS!  I am ordering a color ring, too.....
