i was told by a barber that wen u cut wtg grain it helps ur hair lay down

yo 360spinna, what clippers do you use? i got the oster classic 76 and andis masters. i use the osters on my head and cut with the #2. the next blade up is the 3.5.

i recommend investing in some professional clippers if you cut your own hair people. cheap clippers will give not cut evenly or give patches.

There's nothing wrong with cutting ATG or WTG, its all a matter of preference. Click the link in my sig, those are my waves. All I do is ATG cuts.

i only cut my hair with a #3 ATG AND IT IS A DARK CUT, a #1 WTG will be much lighter

a #2 WTG is not that long, thats about a 1/4inch.
if you cut your hair shorter than that your gonna have a hard time getting and maintaining your waves.
