Desperate in Chicago!!

Yeah, it's fun work, but it's a LOT of work. :) I was a film student until recently- I just graduated from film school in June, and have been alternating working on films and doing my extension work since then.

The film is a low-budget indie film about a diamond heist- kind of film noir-ish, with a lot of intertwining storylines and stuff. It's called "Eight of Diamonds", and should be making the festival circuit in about a year, and out on video after that. It was a ton of fun; we had a lot of goofy cameos, like Donald Gibb ("Ogre" from Revenge of the Nerds) and Tim Kazurinski from SNL as a South African hitman.

Oh yeah, and- you emailed me, metalgirl? At what address, and from what address? I don't remember getting anything from you.

Oh geez, I'm such a cad for making you all worry. I've been working on a film this month, and films are always an immense amount of work- about 6-day weeks, 10- to 15-hour days. And as you can imagine I've fallen behind on getitng back to customers! Thank goodness there's only one more day left, and then life is back to normal. Sesame, does your first name start with S? If so, I've got your number here, and will call you today or Monday.

I had been raving about my GL's about 5 months ago now but I just cannot afford to keep it up. 

Problem is that I am not sure what to do next.  The worst part of all is that I still have the GL's in and they have been falling out like mad.  I know this is a horrible thing to do.

I need to find someone that will do something besides the GL's!  I have tried Rae numerous times but I have never heard back from her.

Any other ideas?
