woah, i think ur stylist is gonna have to perform "surgeory" on ur hair this time. You could use colorfix which is easily available at sally'd but i think its best she remove the color for u.
One important thing to remember is that, when in doubt or if ur trying something new ALWAYS strand test!
For the following use an anti-dandruff shampoo and plenty of intensive conditioner.
I don't know if its wise at this point to remove the color on ur own; ur stylist sounds understanding from wht u wrote, u should ask her again whether u can do colorfix alone.

Hi, I'm new and just found this site, so I hopy you all can give me some advice.
Friday I colored my hair (perm color) as I normally do. I get my color from Sally's (I mix dark blonde neutral base and coppertone red base with 20 volume developer). I then had the bright idea to highlight my own hair (which I normally let my hairstylest do). I used kaleidocolor from Sally's. It didn't look that bad, but it certainly wasn't great. So repeated my orignal color (doing all 3 things in one day). Well I came out looking like Little Orphan Annie. I called my stylist and she suggested that I mix clarifying shampoo (I used Kenra) and laundry washing powder and let it sit on my hair for about 10 minutes. That didn't work. Then she suggested I mix the shampoo, washing powder, and my #20 developer and work it in my hair leaving it on for 20 minutes. That didn't work. So I was instructed to go back to Sally's and get a light brown color neutral base and #10 developer and re-color my hair. I did this Saturday afternoon and then I came out looking like Elvira (very dark brown hair). I called her and she instructed me to do the shampoo/washing powder/developer thing again and it took some of the darkness away allowing for some red to shine through, but it's still rather dark.
My question is this, can I re-color my hair now? What else can I do without making my hair break and fall out? I am not thrilled with this color and I would prefer not having to go see my sytlist due to money and time constraints.
