Making your own clip-ins are cheaper and very easy to do. Here's a pic of mine that I did with Amm's hair. I wear a sew-in but I leave some hair out at the top. I use 2 clip-in pieces at the very top.
This is before I cut off the excess thread. Sorry so dark....I took this with my sidekick2.
i have premad human hair clip ins but i wouldnt by them again because the hair is crap
if you want human hair get some bohyme and make your own clip ins its really easy and cheaper (you can get bohyme here www.yourhairshop.com / www.hairaddition.com )
i switched to synthetic now because its better than crap human hair and less expensive i bought plastikhaar wefts and i will make my own clip ins with the plastikhaar (www.plastikhaar.ch/shop)

u buy wefts, and then clips and then sew them together? lol.. im sure its a bit more complicated than that..
I myself prefer human hair. And actually its not any more complicated than that. You just sew the clips onto the wefts. Its super easy.If people knew exactly how easy and fast it was, noone would buy those premade ones.Plus the hair you use tends to last alot longer than other methods. If you can sew on a button you can make clip ins.

hey, im new to this forum-- still trying tolearn about this whole world of extensions ... i live in the city and get clipins (the hair u wear kind) and its synthetic hair.. ive been usin them for about a month and really like the versatility you get with them.. however, i have some questions about the maintanence with synthetic hair.. after a month, the hair has become very dry brittle frizzy and lack the softness and shine that it did in the beginning-- im sure that this is in part because i brush it (i know ur not supposed to) and dont wash them.. so what kind of shampoo / conditiioner should i use? how often should i use it? should i brush or no? if not, how do i detangle or comb the hair? also...where do u buy these products? do they sell them anywhere in the nyc(manhattan)?
also, as for people who use clipins, do u guys prefer synthetic hair or human? and if i do want to get human, is there anyway to get human hair clipins that are pre-made other than those expensive Raquel welsch ones(does ebay)? ive noticed alot of you make your own clipins with human hair-- the only reason why is because im kinda intimidated and unsure of my ability to make a clip in by myself. ive read prior posts about how to make them, but im still kinda confused.. u buy wefts, and then clips and then sew them together? lol.. im sure its a bit more complicated than that.. how long does it usually take u guys?
thanks sooo much guys.. im a brunette who is now platnium blonde so i inevitably get a lot of breakage and these hair clipins give it a lot more fullness of which i have lost
