European hair is the best hair you can get. It's baby fine in texture and it will last for 1-2 years before you have to toss it. My clients don't mind spending the money since I only do extension methods where the hair can be reused several times. If I offered a method where it was necessary to toss the hair after 1 wearing, I'd go for a cheaper hair.
I get my european hair from extensions plus, and I have never been disappointed. Just be prepared to spend $150-$225 per ounce for the stuff.
On the other hand, Bohyme, which is an Asian hair, is a fabulous hair product as well. I find it to be courser than European, but it's still fairly fine in texture. I have many clients wearing Bohyme, and it works very well. I usually order Bohyme hair for myself too, right now I'm sporting the 22" French Refined texture. Bohyme will last about 6 months to 1 year before it starts to dry out and become tangled. Because it's not very expensive, it's a great value for the money.
I disagree totally. Bohyme isn't thick at all. I use it for all my clients plus use it myself and I have very very fine hair and it matches perfectly x
So you think it's alright to use Asian hair if necessary? I've heard from some sources that it's awful! I don't think it is to be honest though I wouldn't use it as my main.
So Bohyme is better for thicker hair, European for finer and Asian for course!
Bohyme is asain so it's thicker and may not blend well in to some finer hair types. Indian is finer and tends to have some wave or curl. More expensive european, well if they can aford it then it's an option but with strand by strand you usualy toss it and get new each time. If its a weft method and you can get more than one go out of it then it may be worth it. It really depends on they amount they want to spend and what will blend best. Have www.extensions-plus.com send you there sample book. it's nice and has european, Italian and there cheeper line soft wear which is really nice and afordable.
I've just trained as an extensionist and I'm practicing before I let myself loose. I'm pleased with my progress so far.
In regard to buying hair, what in your view is the best option? I'm hearing a range of differing opinions; some say Bohyme is the best quality and great whilst others say European all the way. I've looked a lot into Bohyme and regardless of the reduction in price (in comparison) it looks to be stunning hair that also has longevity. A sample I received is every bit as good as the European.
Naturally, as I'm starting out I don't want to fall foul of buying anything that's not actually that good/popular. Of course I will speak to clients in their consultation and if they specify in their hair requirements I will be sure to meet them and order accordingly.
But please can anyone enlighten me as to what they think. If it's merely a case of opinion I'll try both and see which proves to be the best and most popular. If one is significantly better I'd value any opinions.
