Id love to try some of the UK Bohyme Amanda. I use #613, #22 generally. I am wearing the Bohyme #22 right now...Im not sure if it would be cost effective for me to order through you...not sure about the shipping cost..etc.
Amanda is Jazzy Hair Ltd known as Sharps Global Trading as the address for Jazzy Hair Ltd is the same addresss as Sharps Global Trading. I contacted Jazzy Hair today and was informed that the Celebrity Elite is only sold to Salons. They also informed me that they do sell it to customers but they dont advertise this as there is quite a demand for it but the prices are more expensive than Baacha's retail prices. They manufacture in the London premises. Sharps Global Trading comes up quite a lot when doing searches on google for hair.

aw crumb - i just typed this whole thingie and computer froze!
i'd be happy to give you my specs and opinions for pinchbraids...hopefully today i'll have time to post all that stuff as a new thread. for me they work so well, i think it is mostly who installs them for me, though ... the stylist i think for that method is critical, although i know syren and rose had major slippage.
i'll stop hijacking now and post soon!

ccross- how do you like the pinch braids? that is what I wanted originally, but the lady i had asked to have them done is soooo flakey..and I do not have time for her to constantly be running HOURS behind schedule due to how long it takes already..How long did it take you to have them put in? ANd are the thin enough for your liking? And, last question- what assures them of not slipping out- did you use some type of glue or thread..I think they might slide right out of my hair...I really do still want them done though- they seem like the only damage-free way to get individuals...i wanna see yours!

isn't that the truth... i just had bohyme silky straight installed with pinchbraids and will post pics hopefully later today. so far i'm loving it. i assume also there is some type of coating although i've not heard the horror stories of the wearing off of the coating like many other brands :)

hmmm..so it must be coated with something also..well, I hope it looks as nice after a while as it does now..but, I know that like all good things, it will come to an end sometimes...ultimately if I like the "extra" bulk of hair while having to chase around my 7 month old, I think I will have it tipped when the wefts get loose instead of retightening them..this is a test..and a test to see how this hair holds up...

i can't address the cutting/styling stuff shann but i can say i think the idea behind removing the cuticle with the US bohyme is that it's the misalignment of the cuticles once the silicone coating wears off that makes most human hair tangle and mat badly. the cuticle free hair is supposed to not tangle up because if this. it also makes it better for some types of installations where the hair is folded or doubled over (like pinchbraids, etc) where cuticles could be misaligned and lead to tangling. although i agree it sounds harsh the bohyme people seem to have found a way to remove the cuticle without killing the hair.

i can snap a pic of the french refined once I get it in later today...(it is the only texture that matches mine own natural hair so well) I am having it put in in the interlocking micro weft method (no braids, only the thread is the track...?) I HATE THE TRACKS!! but maybe these will not be so bad...so I will snap a pic and post it up once I get it in. What is the best way to cut this hair? Meaning, should I cut it wet to blend it with mine, or straighten it with the iron so I can see it better? p.s I am NOT cutting it, someone else is, but I would like to know what manner is best..
p.p.s- I thought the goal for good human hair was to have hair WITH the cuticle, little or nothing done by way of processing...this US bohyme is not that way, rite? which SUCKS!
Sherrie - I've used both and the UK bohyme lasts longer and doesn't poof as much. Its very smooth and silky. I do feel however that the USA bohyme is of a finer texture, probably because its had the cuticles stripped off. Every time I go out I curl my hair with a small curling iron and it doesn't go frizzy at all, maybe its just the USA bohyme that does that x
Amm - that was all UK bohyme what I sent you, I think colour 130 and colour 6 that was tipped. Thanks for the tipping compliment he he. I have a good bit of colour 27 or colour 613 french refined USA bohyme waiting here for you Amm, e-mail me your addy and I'll post it to you, I'm sick of seeing it in my "hair conservatory" to be honest x
I really have no problems..with the Bohyme. It has held up very well actually. I could actually take this Bohyme out and reinstall it again. Yes it is flatter and straighter than what I like also...although it does look very good worn straight or with just a very loose curl...but for me the Bohyme just does not like to be curled with a small barrel curling iron...it honestly has a frizzy fuzzy look to the hair. My normal daily curling consists of all over spirals with a 5/8 barrel curling iron and the straight Bohyme just doesnt perform well for this...not for me anyway. I have never been able to really master hotrollers, and get the same control as with an iron, but those may work better.

I had 2 different colors of the Bohyme I got from Amanda. Were they
different types Amanda? sherrie, I did not have those same problems
you reported but in retrospect I just couldn't get used to the flatness
of it. I think it was more of seeing myself with super straight hair. Not
a good look for me. I'm just not used to no body. I actually wouldn't
mind seeing what their body texture or FR is like. (Though me and
french refined are sworn enemies now.)
Let me put some of that Bohyme Amanda gets over there in the thing
I'm sending to you. It's a little dark for you but you get to see the
difference in the UK version and what's here. Plus, you can feast
your eyes on Amanda's killer tipping. :)
Thats interesting Amanda...so then the UK Bohyme still has the cuticle? But the US Bohyme does not? So if the UK Bohyme has cuticle then is it better in your opinion?

Sharps Global Trading which is part of Baacha have the patent on Bohyme Remi, they have not pinched the name. When I first started out in business I purchased bohyme from ebonyline all the time for quite a few months until I discovered the UK bohyme. The bohyme from Ebonyline is no different at all to the bohyme from the UK apart from the fact that the UK bohyme still has cuticles. I would save your money Emily. If you don't like the UK bohyme you won't like the American. I can send you samples of both if you want to compare them x
I have a large line of the silky straight texture Bohyme hair in my shop. I ship airmail to the UK and the maximum shipping out of the country would be $13.98. If you need any colors or lengths not listed, just ask. I have a few other things that haven't made it up in the site yet
Jazzy Hair Ltd is the company that make bohyme hair. I think Celebrity Elite is just for the packaging, perhaps this is a division of the company I am not sure. But they definetly sell this hair in the market shop in Arndale Centre. I think its around �75.00 or something like that price.
