my hair just came in today and boy am I excited. The hair is so soft. I am just worried I might need more hair. I only ordered two packs. I think it should be enough though since it's curly.
PS - see it says hand-tied weft? They were so NOT hand-tied wefts.
I agree.. I ordered both the so-called hand tied as well as the machine wefts because I wanted to compare the two.. The hand tied weft looks more like a micro-weft to me.. We cut them, and didn't need to seal or tie off the ends.
While I was surprised about that, to be honest this was not a real issue for me because I still really don't like hand tied wefts.. Partly due to a bad experience with a stylist who ruined the only batch of hand tied hair I had ever purchased in the past, but mostly because I like the styling control I get with machine wefts.. I can cut them to any size I need, I don't have to worry about tying off or sealing wefts. I am however opening my mind to hand tied wefts.. Hence why I purchased the RK so-called hand tied wefts in the first place..

I just ordered the RK Jackson wavy the other day in 18 inches. I'm hoping it matches my hair texture when I get it. I have used the rk straight hair before and it was beautiful. Will post pics when I get the hair.

i'm pretty sure i'm the purchaser of that hair; my review is mixed in that for what i bought it for (discounted over RK price) it was as good as i could've imagined for the money. the hair isn't terrible IMO, certainly much better than BSS hair...you are right amm finger combing was impossible and brushing made it - boofy? big hair with a slight frizzly texture. my best friend has hair relaxed to a yaki texture and was like - ooooh that would be perfect for me! the texture wasn't really right for my hair, though, but i did get about 4 weeks wear out of it? i didn't have issues with big tangles or mats the way some have and i did use the recommended olive oil therapy and i didn't wear it down a lot. i felt like it looked crappy if i had it up and took it down without major efforts in combing, spraying with watered down conditioner, etc etc.

OK, dragging my sorry behind in here at 5am but here it goes...
Not sure this is what you're looking to find out but maybe it'll help others in a decision about this hair.
Two different curls, one look. Looks nice, eh? I was disappointed. The shine is there in the sun but the reflection belies the texture. I didn't like it, frankly. It was too rough for me.
Now washed...
Same texture again. I think they just put different tags on the same hair or something. It had a pasta look to it and was very hard to fingercomb. I ended up selling the hair for below cost with major disclosures. I heard it ended up wearing somewhat decent for a little bit. I think the hair was worth what I sold it for but it definitely wasn't worth what I bought it for.
PS - see it says hand-tied weft? They were so NOT hand-tied wefts. This was one of many foul-ups from RK which were mainly severely underweight wefts and shorting on length.
I have pics of it new and washed. Hang tight and I'll upload pics before tomorrow morning. I've got about a 40lb batch of soap oils melting on the stove right now. be back later...
Does anyone have any pics of Rk wavy.I have seen the pics of the curly and have had the straight myself. But I'm really curious about the wavy. thanks in advance.
